Ho Chi Minh City en quelques images.
Nous avons découvert une ville chaotique. Mais un chao bien organisé. Nous avons arpenté les petites ruelles, échangé de magnifiques sourires, découvert des nouveaux goûts et un peuple accueillant, fière et travaillant. On s'y sent en sécurité!

Île au large de Vinh Long où il fait bon vivre. 
Promenades en vélo, hamacs et quelques petits tours guidé le tout agrémenté de bonne bouffe :)

Pour s'y rendre, 3 heure d'autobus... en bus de nuit, la classe!

We made it safe and sound after just over 24 hours of travelling. The kids were awesome travellers, not a pip from them :)
Arriving in Ho Chi Minh city was quite ... how should we put this... different. The rhythm of this city is at the same time bustling and fast pace but also easy going and the feeling is, time just slowed down for us.
We have travelled Asia before, but never have we seen so many motor bikes! It's just crazy, no obvious traffic rules and honking away like it's another foreign language we just don't understand. Try crossing the 3 lane streets! You could wait all day for the right time to cross and it would never come... so like the locals, it's just one foot in front of the other and don't look back!!! They are somehow extremely talented at managing all of this, we haven't witnessed a single accident and all their vehicles are dent free :)
We thought it would be a good idea to book a confortable apartment for our first 2 nights here, to get over the jet lag and get some good rest after the long travels. The apartment was splendid, very luxurious and there was a great outdoor pool! After some hours of sleep, out we went out exploring the streets. Imagine our surprise when we came back and the room key was not working... it turns out I had made a mistake in the booking and booked the wrong nights. It was 4pm and according to their books we were due for check out at noon. So here we are, being charged for an overstay and no place to stay the night!!
All is bad that ends well, we found another place that was really well situated and a taxi ride later we were ready to hit the sack.
