When we arrived at Koh Kradan, it was quite windy and wavy so we decided to go on the opposite side of the island to sunset beach. It end up being a smart decision since it was only a 10 minute walk through the jungle and was beautiful and perfectly protected from the east winds. On top of that, we had it to ourselves all afternoon and had lots of fun swimming and enjoyed the warm and zenitude of the sunset.
We saw Murray eels, sea snakes, lion fish, a new kind of clown fish that we had never seen before and also a new type of fish that was quite funny. We nicknamed them the « leaf fish ». They were vertically floating around head down in small groups, only moving to the horizontal position to quickly swim away from us. What a strange type of fish. The island being quite touristic we had a hard time finding good, affordable, Thai food. Therefore, we ended it up in a Italian restaurant where we ate delightful pizzas. On our way back to the bungalow, we found wonderful swings hanging from a huge tree over the ocean. We had such a blast swinging over the waves pushed by our energic dad ;-)
